Internship for Jessie Koh with Chiropractic First ended today!
To me it's more to sadness & don't bear than the freedom feeing.
5th march2012 - 22nd june2012
With my group of interns of 10, we started training at OUBC.
Memorising scripts for new patients, ROF, what to do, what to prepare, how to take xray, subsidy explanation, roleplay, platinum system, pre-mapping etc
Man, but good is within the 3 hours break we lepak ALOT.
Bowling, camwhoring like crazy, starbucks, coldstone :D
we take pics anywhere & EVERYWHERE.
Guess where is this taken! Under the escalator at ORCHARD. hahah crazy already :D
Then, we were all assigned to different branches, alone with the full time staffs.
Thre were certain unhappiness at first for most of us.
As for me, I was allocated to CBP (changi) and RCM(buona).
So apparently every odd days I will be at east and even days I will be at the west, and no transport fee t be claimed.
So often mixed up cos interchange for me for both locations is at serangoon.
CBP is more slackish, minimal patients but drjames is great.
He shares his experience, nurturing staff to grow and is really an inspirational idol- to care about patient's health more than the figures he had.
It was really unfair for him to b allocated at sucha ulu location with his 30years experience and being blamed for nonsensical reasons.
He had moved to a better company w better treatment, and ThankGod for that:)
HIS ADJUSTMENTS ARE AWESOME MAN!!
On days whereby patients appointments are a gap from each other, nurul, nura, daryl and me will grab yoghurt from downstairs. Or even chips from changi point, dining at Bagus, going valueshop, complaining bt 6mins expo train waiting time nd how CBP is little india #2.
It was indeed less stressed and happier as compared to RCM, when then, was DrKan operating alone.
We held a farewell party for drjames, and he's now in the states for his marriage. May blissfull life be ahead of you drjames <3
So as for every tuesday, cf staffs were required to report for meetings whereby its mosty a waste of time.
Covering what we had learnt in training, roadshows, walk in enquies, phone call rescheduling of appointment script etc.
Around april, DrMike arrived at RCM for his training.
He's like super nice, offering water upon first meeting and as a doctor who will do that?!
Maybe theres some out there but for me he's the first, and it really left me touched.
So when its confirmed he will b operating at RCM, its really a very happy news :D
In this period of time and internship, Nura teached me alot.
Transactions, ICN, settlement, products, what to print out during closing etc
Spending almost every day with her lepak, working, sharing personal life problems, tearing together, tenderbest, fairprice, yoghurt, cabbing to other clinic, gossips, tripletown, rotisserie, fruits, instant noodes, snackng tll we both fell sick tgt, cramps, shag when work till 10pm w DK, breakfast before clinic, encouraging ea for next phase of life, reebonz, gongcha,full names etc:)
She's more than a colleague. SHES MY GOODEST FRIEND EVER. and I really treasure this friendship:)

Working together with her and DrMike is definately one of the best memory I can ever have in CF.
Playing guns and roses songs, sharing fruit and encouraging healthy eating, towel seaweed problematic space grabber, spa and girly scenes, dancing.

There was once I and nura took a nap during lunch, and he put a towel over us in case we catch a cold. Not wanting to wake us up
even thou lunch time is over.

Despite being sick but still caring for us more. Doing pushups *5 for every 1 i did to encourage me to exercise.
Putting us above himself. always. sharing and caring.
Treating us fruits and yoghurt despite on budget.

Learning chinese and his xiexie is 'stje stje'. Hahaha! Knowing how to pronounce 'fan guo lai' and 'you bian, zhuo bian'
Being singaporean and using 'can LAH'. Eat using 2 chopsticks to try and blend in w us.

Drmike showed me craniopathy adjustment, taught me e name of shoulder blade muscle (rhomboid), allowed me to take down notes for him for patients (which I really wanted to help othr docs since start of intership but never had e chance) , ALLOWED ME TO PERFORM ADJUSTMENT ON HIM.
OMGGGGGGG THANKS DRMIKE. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING I REALLY APPRECIATE WHAT YOU'D DONE FOR ME. :')
However,
Around early june, nura left for a better company.
It's good for her and the income but yeah really damn heartbroken and sad though we can always meet up.
Yeah I mad emotional so following days whereby traces of places and memories flow back re me and her wiIl tear, very badly.
Chatted with each othr on phone on a particular day at the same time and both of us teared as well, missing each other's presence :'(((
RCM group now consist of ivy, and a new staff aishah.
In a way drmike and me became closer, i became his diary, personal assistant, clinic assistant and being a nag henever he forgot his spine med appt. :P
Today he gave me 2 tight hugs, wishing me well and gaining more weight(ass) and other confidental regards.
He said 'in th event that I open my own clinic I wishes to have her back once again'.

Really cant bear t leave rcm esp drmike and emotional me break down again, thou i know can always goback/meet up but yeah tings will likely not be t same anymore. :(

Overall lawerence, asked me to consider doing partime at CF on sat if Im available to lend a helping hand but yeah gona see my schedule for FYP first!
Astar will be opp RCM anyway, so prolly I will pop by with mr victor whenever he go for his adj :)
One of those awesome opportunity is meeting mr victor, gaining a chance to complete my FYP in my idolized astar and im really grateful for that <3
I believe I have to thank nura for the ASTAR because with her liveliness and friendliness i picked up courage t talk to pts, thus open myself up, voicing my views and chancing upon a potential opportunity due to my passion :D
And ofcos, thanks to mr victor very much as well!!
Patients in rcm, i grew close to them and upon hearing that im leaving, they wish me warm regards, best and work hard in my studies, a bright future.

Treated lawrence pizzahut & he's been treating i & nura twice, to thank him for this while in teaching and coaching me along:)
And also being SO excited for me knowing im doing fyp in ASTAR, spreading the goodnews around so now everyone in CF knows bt it LOL.

Internship has been great except the meetings, impromptu RQ of DKpatients, last minute everyting and biasness issues.
But I wont regret coming to CF cos of the friendships I made there, people I came across, and the memories <3
